Trinational Summer School

From 28.08 to 03.09.2022 a Summer School took place, in which all three countries were visited. The students and professors of the three universities met on the 28th to get to know each other. On 29. 08. they had the opportunity to talk with two contemporary witnesses, who were rescued as children with the “train to freedom”. Pawel Hoffmann traveled personally to Berlin, Zivi Cohen was online from Israel.

The students from three countries lively exchanged results and experiences in their scientific work. The further procedure of researching the families was discussed and the seminar of the FU presented a first draft of an exhibition for a memorial place in Berlin.

The joint exchange was of enormous benefit to all.
